The North Vancouver location of Bella Pizza was established by Al Peralta in January of 1993, after spending 6 years working in other Bella Pizza locations in Vancouver. Al liked the product and the company so much, he purchased the franchise for the North Shore and plans on opening additional locations in Deep Cove and in West Vancouver.

What makes the BEST Pizza in North Vancouver the BEST is the fact that they produce the BEST Montreal Style Pizza.  They make dough daily from scratch with a family recipe and unbleached, hi-gluten wheat flour and every pizza is hand tossed.  Their sauce is unique, and only the BEST cheeses, the freshest vegetables, and the choicest meats are used. While Bella Pizza is centrally located on upper Lonsdale, across from London Drugs, 90% of their business is take-out and delivery. They deliver all the way to the 25th Street area of West Vancouver (including The British Properties) to the Berkeley Road area of Seymour/Blueridge. With just a $10 minimum order, there is no delivery charge to locations within 3 kilometers of the store and delivery to other areas is just $3.

Besides the BEST pizza, they also offer a variety of appetizers, pastas, sandwiches, chicken, ribs, salads and even desserts. They open every day at 11:AM. They are open until 10:PM Sunday thru Wednesday, until 11:PM on Thursdays and until Midnight on Friday and Saturday, They can sit 10 inside and there are 2 tables on the outside. Al is particularly proud of his 10 member staff, one of whom has been with him for 11 years. "He started with me when I first opened, when he was 15 and now he is graduating from University," Al states with a great deal of pride.
